Ludwig Hoffmann, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Biophysical Modeling, CCB, Flatiron Institute

Ludwig Hoffmann joined the Center for Computation Biology in September 2026 as a Flatiron Reseach Fellow with the Biophysical Modeling group. He holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Prior to joining CCB, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard, where he worked on continuum models of morphogenesis. He previously earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Leipzig University in Germany.
