Olenka Jain joins the Center for Computational Biology in September 2026 as a “bridge” Flatiron Research Fellow, working with both the Biophysical Modeling & Developmental Dynamics teams. Olenka received her B.A. in Physics from Harvard University, working in the lab of Daniel Needleman, and completed her doctorate work at Princeton University in the Biophysics program under the guidance of Stanislav Shvartsman. Olenka Jain works on problems of oocyte development, specifically those involving cytoplasmic streaming, and developmental transitions.
