Vicente Gomez Herrera, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Biophysical Modeling, CCB joint with CCM, Flatiron Institute

Vicente Gomez Herrera joined the Flatiron Institute in September 2025, as a Flatiron Research Fellow, in a joint position between CCB and CCM. He has a Ph.D. in mathematics from New York University, where he studied spindle dynamics and active open layers in Stokesian Fluids. Previously, he completed a dual B.Sc. in physics and engineering at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
