Claudia Skok Gibbs, Ph.D.

Claudia Skok Gibbs is a Flatiron Research Fellow in the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Biology (CCB). She rejoined the Simons Foundation in 2026 after previously working for CCB as a research analyst in the Systems Biology group from 2018 to 2021. She is currently a member of CCB’s Genomics group, in which she focuses on developing deep and probabilistic models for gene regulatory network inference.

Skok Gibbs received her B.S. in mathematics from the University of Miami and her Ph.D. from New York University. She was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship from 2023 to 2026.
