Motivated by the mysteries and potential uses of the quantum world, John Bonini develops computational tools to better understand and predict the behavior of quantum systems. Bonini is a research fellow at the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Quantum Physics. He received his Ph.D. in physics from Rutgers University in 2020.

This video is part of Quantum Connect, a series in which physicists at the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Quantum Physics discuss their lives, research and how they wrap their heads around some of science’s thorniest questions.
