SCGB West Coast Postdoc Meeting Series

The Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain hosts a quarterly west coast postdoc meeting series. The purpose of these meetings is to bring together postdocs interested in neural coding and dynamics to discuss ideas and data. The meeting organizer is Anna Gillespie, a postdoc and SCGB Fellow in Loren Frank’s lab at UCSF. The speakers for the winter meeting are:

Diogo Peixoto Postdoc in Bill Newsome’s lab, Stanford University
Real-time decoding and perturbation of decision states during a perceptual discrimination task

Alireza Alemi Postdoc in Mark Goldman’s lab, University of California, Davis
The brain as an efficient and robust adaptive learner
