Anthony Pullen is an Assistant Professor in Physics at New York University (NYU) and a visiting scholar at the Center for Computational Astrophysics. His research interest is characterizing the large-scale structure (LSS) of the Universe through the analysis of galaxy surveys, cosmic microwave background surveys, and line intensity mapping. In particular, he is helping lead efforts to analyze LSS data from NASA’s upcoming SPHEREx mission. He received his B.S in Physics from Southern University and his Ph.D. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab and Carnegie Mellon University before joining the faculty at NYU in 2016.
