Aramis Tanelus

Undergraduate Student, New York University

Aramis Tanelus is an intern at the Flatiron Institute researching artificial neural networks for sound source localization in collaboration with Alex Williams. Tanelus is an undergraduate studying neural science and researching in Dan Sanes’ lab in the Center for Neural Science at New York University. He has developed software for chronic, synchronized recording of Mongolian gerbils in long-term experiments. Currently, his research centers around methods of analyzing the data recovered from these experiments.
