Arjun Dibya

Arjun Dibya is currently a sophomore at the City College of New York majoring in biomedical engineering and has been a part of the Dean’s list for two consecutive semesters. Last year, he immigrated to the United States from Bangladesh. With a solid foundation in community engagement and the desire to make a positive impact, Arjun is eager to explore opportunities to develop his skills and contribute to meaningful projects. He is enthusiastic about education, learning new skills and loves to enlighten people with his knowledge. Whether it is through internships, research projects or extracurricular activities, he is committed to using his education to make a positive impact on society. Arjun was also part of an organization that helped people who used to struggle with their mental health. He values psychology and loves to connect it with neuroscience. Currently, he is doing an internship at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center where he is working on a project on esophagus squamous cancer cells. He believes that SURFIN will help him in his future endeavors for the betterment of humanity. In the future, he wants to be a neurosurgeon, following the footsteps of his father.
