Arjun Kar, Ph.D.

Arjun Kar is a postdoc at the University of British Columbia. Originally from Pittsburgh, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania under the supervision of Vijay Balasubramanian. His recent work has focused on models of black hole evaporation, baby universes and semiclassical resolutions of the information paradox. His long-term research interests include understanding the relationship between quantum computation and gravity.
