Chen Lin, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Structural and Molecular Biophysics Collaboration, CCB, Flatiron Institute

Chen Lin joined the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Biology in the fall of 2021 as a Flatiron Research Fellow. Chen’s research focuses on biomolecular processes at the multi-scale level from atomistic to mesoscopic, including the development of generalized sampling approaches based on advanced techniques from probability theory, statistical inference, and machine learning order to understand data more efficiently and accurately. Prior to joining CCB, Chen completed a PhD in Chemistry at UCLA, working with Dr. Robijn Bruinsma, and a BS in Chemistry from Purdue University.
