Gilad Turok

Research Analyst, CCM, Flatiron Institute

Gilad Turok joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Research Analyst in September 2023. Gilad is broadly interested in Bayesian inference Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) and deep learning (geometric, robustness, interpretability). He graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in applied mathematics. During his time there, he worked on hyperbolic optimization for phylogeny reconstruction and hybrid variational inference for fine-mapping.
