Executive Vice President, Mathematics & Physical Sciences
Greg Gabadadze joined the Simons Foundation in September 2017 and is the foundation’s chief science officer and an executive vice president. He is on leave from New York University, where he served as the dean for science in the School of Arts and Science, vice dean for research in arts and science, chair of the Department of Physics, and director of the Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics. His research work is at the intersection of theoretical particle physics, cosmology and gravity. Gabadadze holds a Ph.D. in physics from Rutgers University and an M.S. from Moscow State University.
