Josefine Meyer

University of Graz

Josefine Meyer was born in the United States and graduated in 2020 with excellent success from high school in Graz, where she has lived since 2010 after living in Germany and Switzerland. She is now a student at the University of Graz and Graz University of Technology, where she studies molecular biology and will begin studying economics in the fall. Josefine is excited and grateful to be part of the program and looks forward to working in the Zimmer lab with Oriana Salazar Thula. She can’t wait to understand the neural network on a higher level and to widen her horizon in neurobiology, especially in combination with computer science. Besides her interest in natural sciences and politics, she is a dedicated basketball player, playing in the first Austrian women’s league.
