Lamrot Jinfessa

University of Chicago

Lamrot Jinfessa is a rising third-year student at the University of Chicago. Right now, she’s thrilled to be working as an intern for the Computational Social Science Lab, contributing to the Nudge Cartography Project — an amazing initiative that seeks to create a comprehensive knowledge hub for effective nudging strategies.

In addition, Lamrot has chosen to pursue a double major in neuroscience and cognitive science. She is interested in taking an interdisciplinary approach in her studies to gain a deeper understanding of the brain and human behavior. Her primary focus lies in exploring and researching higher-order cognitive processes, with a particular interest in decision-making.

She is excited to apply what she has learned in her classes to a lab setting and to learn as much as she can from conducting neuroscience research.
