Santa Clara University

Natalia Cantu is a senior (‘24) undergraduate honors student studying biology and english at Santa Clara University, with a primary interest in neuroscience research. Throughout her junior year, she worked as a Strategic Communication Fellow in the Healthcare Innovation and Design Program at Santa Clara University, further enriching her passions in both communication and science. She has experience in laboratory settings that involved techniques such as liquid-liquid extraction, gel electrophoresis, and titrations. She expects that SURFiN will provide her with an opportunity to further develop her research comprehension, collaborate with distinguished mentors and make substantial contributions to the field of neuroscience. Her current interests center around the fusing of writing and science and hopes to bring both of these fields together in her future career.
