Niyathi Annamaneni

Niyathi Annamaneni is in her third year at San Jose State University majoring in psychology and minoring in studio art. Her research interests include the evolution of maladaptive neural circuitry and its contribution to the development of psychological disorders, and the mechanisms of neural plasticity involved in behavioral treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy. The SCGB Undergraduate Research Fellowship program gives her the opportunity to engage directly in research related to systems and computational neuroscience.
