Taeyoon Kim, Ph.D.

Taeyoon Kim is an associate professor in Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He received B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University in 2004 and S.M. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2007 and 2011. His research focuses on computational investigation of biological systems at various length scales, such as bacteria, cytoskeleton, cells, and tissues. He currently serves as an editorial board member on Cytoskeleton. He is currently a visiting scholar at CCB.
