Tokiro Numasawa, Ph.D.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Tokiro Numasawa is a postdoc at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As a member of It from Qubit, he was a postdoc at McGill University. He received his Ph.D. from Kyoto University under the supervision of Tadashi Takayanagi. He is interested in quantum information in quantum field theories and how it works in quantum gravity via the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory correspondence. His recent work focuses on the dynamics of entanglement in many-body systems, tensor networks and quantum operations in quantum field theories. More recently, he has also been interested in topological phases of matters and chaos in many-body systems.
