Lauren Benovich

University of Michigan

Lauren Benovich is currently a senior at the University of Michigan studying neuroscience. She intends to receive her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience in the spring of 2024. She has experience taking classes in behavioral and molecular neuroscience, including courses related to lab techniques commonly used in neuroscience labs. Throughout her academic career, she has had lab experience in anatomy, physiology, chemistry and more. In addition, Lauren has experience working in an adult neurology clinic, and with patients that have traumatic brain injuries. She is interested in neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, etc. She hopes to have a medical career specializing in neurological disorders, along with advancing research on those disorders.
