Omar Vera

Omar Vera joined the Science, Society & Culture team in the fall of 2021. As a program manager, Vera manages the division’s grant administration process. He also supports program development, including proposal review, due diligence, and maintaining relationships with the division’s broad community of grantees. Vera graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in political science in 2021, is an alum of Prep for Prep 9 and is a 2026 alum of the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service.
