Title: Introduction to Gaussian Processes for Astronomy
Abstract: In this colloquium timeslot, I will give a lecture with a pedagogical introduction to Gaussian Process models, and their use in astronomy. This will be based (in part) on the Annual Review that I recently co-authored with Suzanne Aigrain (Oxford; https://arxiv.org/abs/2209.08940). Any interested members of the CCA or wider NYC-area astronomy community are invited to join.
