About the Speaker
Matthew McQuinn is a theoretical astrophysicist and cosmologist at the University of Washington in the Department of Astronomy. He studies the evolution of cosmic matter from the infant Universe up until the present, typically focusing on structures much larger than the sizes of galaxies.
