Title:  Immune System Recognition of Tumors: The role of T-cell/Antigen Binding

The interaction of the adaptive immune system with tumors is a problem of both fundamental interest as part of the self non-self recognition puzzle and obvious clinical importance. As most of the interaction is carried out by T cells, recognition starts via molecular level encounters between putative antigens and the T cell repertoire operating through varying T-cell receptors. This talk will focus on our ongoing research program into understanding these recognition events, both from a conceptual framework and using the modern tools of molecular biophysics.
