Title: Noisy, intermediate-scale quantum computers: challenges and perspectives
Abstract: In this informal talk, I will discuss a few of the challenges facing noisy, intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) computers: how to describe them in a realistic enough manner, how to simulate their (imperfect) behavior, how to optimize their programs, and what applications they can be used for.
