About the Speaker

Lisa Fitzpatrick is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-trained medical epidemiologist and board-certified infectious diseases physician with domestic and global public health experience. She served as a foreign diplomat in the Caribbean while representing the U.S. government CDC Global AIDS Program under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and was recently named a member of the Institute of Medicine/National Academy of Sciences Roundtable on Health Literacy.
