Topic: Improvements in the VIPUR prediction pipeline

Gene products such as proteins can vary due to DNA coding, transcriptional, or translational errors. While some protein variants may have no effect on the protein’s functional capabilities, others may be deleterious – causing a disruption or change in protein function. Variant Interpretation and Prediction Using Rosetta (VIPUR) is a computational framework for assessing the effect of variants on protein function. In this talk, I will discuss ongoing improvements being made to the VIPUR pipeline including data collection, feature selection and model development
