Abhilash Sahoo, Ph.D.

Associate Research Scientist, Structural and Molecular Biophysics, CCB , Flatiron Institute

Abhilash Sahoo joined the Structural and Molecular Biophysics team as a Flatiron research fellow in July 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of Maryland (UMD) at College Park, and BS-MS dual degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Kolkata. Towards his PhD, Abhilash developed multi-scale molecular simulations to study the biophysics of protein dynamics, assembly and protein-membrane interactions. While at UMD, Abhilash was awarded the Ann G. Wylie Fellowship.
