Aida Behmard, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Astronomical Data, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Aida joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September, 2024. She uses observational and computational/data-driven methods to precisely characterize stars and their planetary systems, with the aim of understanding how they form and evolve throughout the Galaxy. From 2023-2024, she was a Kalbfleisch Postdoctoral Fellow at the American Museum of Natural History. She earned her Ph.D. in planetary science from the California Institute of Technology (2023), and her B.S. in physics from Yale University (2015).
