Chi-Ning Chou, Ph.D.

Chi-Ning Chou is a Flatiron Research Fellow in the Center for Computational Neuroscience. Chi-Ning earned his Ph.D. in the theory of computation group at Harvard University. Before that, he received a bachelor’s degree in computer science (with a minor in math) at the National Taiwan University and worked as a research assistant in the Institute of Information Science at Academia Sinica for a year. His research interest is to understand the fundamental nature and limit of computation in different systems including the mathematical, the biological, and the physical ones. Outside academics, he enjoys all kinds of sports, cooking, reading, and classical music.
