Chia-Yu Hu was a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Astrophysics between 2016 and 2019, and is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics. His research interest includes stellar feedback and galactic outflows, dust and chemistry modeling in the interstellar medium, and subgrid models of turbulent flows. He holds a B.S. in materials engineering and an M.S. in astrophysics at National Taiwan University and a Ph.D. in astrophysics at the Max-Planck-Institute for Astrophysics.
