Chris Roth joined the Flatiron Institute in 2023 after receiving a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Texas at Austin. His research involves developing neural network-based approaches for simulating strongly correlated quantum many-body problems. He contributes to the open-source library NetKet. Recently his work was nominated as Editors’ Choice by the journal Physical Review B.
