David Hathcock, Ph.D.
Flatiron Research Fellow, CCB, Flatiron Institute
David Hathcock joined the Center for Computational Biology as a Flatiron Research Fellow in July 2025. David holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Case Western Reserve University and received his Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University, where he was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Prior to joining Flatiron Institute, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the IBM TJ Watson Research Center from 2022-2025. His current research focuses on collective behaviors in biology, using tools from statistical physics and dynamical systems to understand cellular information processing, nonequilibrium phase transitions, and stochastic gene expression.
