David Persson, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, CCM, Flatiron Institute

David Persson joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September, 2024. David is also a Courant Instructor at New York University (NYU). David works on the design and analysis of randomized algorithms for numerical linear algebra problems. Before joining the Flatiron Institute, he obtained his Ph.D. in mathematics at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He also holds an M.S. in mathematics with economics from University College London.
