Don Rolih

Ph.D. Candidate, University of Ljubljana

Don Rolih is a physics Ph.D. student at the University of Ljubljana and a Young Researcher at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He joined the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) as a predoctoral researcher in September, 2024. Rolith’s thesis supervisor is Rok Žitko and my research interests include strongly correlated system, superconductors and superconducting devices, such as Josephson junctions. He uses numerical renormalization group together with dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT) to study these systems.

Rolih’s predoctoral project at CCQ consists of two parts: He will be updating the nrgljubljana_interface in the TRIQS toolbox under the supervision of Nils Wentzell, while under the supervision of Fabian Kugler he will work on inhomogeneous DMFT.
