Eliot Hijano is a postdoc at Princeton University. As a member of It from Qubit, he was a postdoc at the University of British Columbia. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, under the supervision of Per Kraus and Michael Gutperle. His most recent work focuses on holography and aims at the gravitational description of objects that are naturally defined in field theory. Much of his research revolves around three-dimensional gravity and higher spin theories, which provide a testing ground for ideas about classical and quantum gravity.
