Florian Pimpel

Ph.D. Student, TU Wien

Florian Pimpel is a Ph.D. student at TU Wien, supervised by Andreas Grüneis. His research focuses on the development and implementation of wave function-based methods for the study of solid-state systems. Florian joined the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) in January 2025 as a predoctoral researcher. At CCQ, he works with Miguel Morales and Karl Pierce on a rank-reduced version of Coupled Cluster theory.
