Guy Ohayon, Ph.D.

Guy Ohayon is a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Neuroscience. His research interests include rate-distortion theory, information geometry, metric learning, inverse problems, and generative modeling. He previously earned a Ph.D. in computer science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where he was advised by Prof. Michael Elad and Prof. Tomer Michaeli. His doctoral research explored both theoretical and practical aspects of image restoration and compression techniques that rely on generative models.
