Hannah Bayer, Ph.D.

Hannah Bayer joined the foundation in October 2025 as Senior Scientific Officer, Neuroscience Collaborations. She is the scientific lead for the Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB). Prior to joining, she was the Executive Director of the International Brain Laboratory (a foundation funded project), and before that she was an editor at the journal Nature Neuroscience. Hannah holds a BA from Haverford College and a PhD from NYU.
