Hugh Parsons, M.S.

Hugh Parsons joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics as a pre-doctoral researcher in September 2026, working with Francisco Villaescusa-Navarro on Denario, a multi-agent AI system for accelerating and automating scientific discovery. His research interests include LLM-based agents for science, self-supervised and representation learning, and symbolic regression. He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Auckland in 2026, where his thesis focused on representation learning for symbolic regression.
