Ivan Pasqua

Ph.D. Candidate , Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati

Ivan Pasqua joined the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) in September 2025 as a predoctoral researcher. He is pursuing his Ph.D. at Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), in Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Michele Fabrizio. In his research, he investigated physical signatures of fractionalized excitations in correlated topological insulators on the verge of a Mott transition, using methods such as dynamical mean-field theory and the ghost-Gutzwiller approximation.

At CCQ, he will collaborate with Jason Kaye and Antoine Georges on exploring efficient new numerical algorithms for the study of impurity problems.
