Jack Dunham

Flatiron Research Fellow, CCQ, Flatiron Institute

Jack Dunham joined the foundation in September 2025 as a Flatiron Research Software Fellow. His work involves applying high-dimensional tensor network methods to many-body quantum systems and developing the ITensor suite of software libraries. Prior to joining the foundation, Jack earned a MPhys degree at the University of St Andrews before pursuing a PhD in physics at University College London. During this time he also worked as an analyst for the Government Office for Science in London, and as a researcher at the Center for Theoretical Physics in Warsaw.
