Jaid Moore

Ph.D. Candidate , University of Maryland, College Park

During Jaid’s time at the Flatiron Institute, she was a Simons-NSBP Program (SNSP) Scholar working in the Center for Computational Astrophysics. She collaborated closely with the University of Pennsylvania on the development of the Large Aperture Telescope Receiver (LATR) for the Simons Observatory. Following her tenure at Flatiron, Jaid has continued her research journey in cosmological and astrophysical instrumentation. Currently, Jaid is pursuing Ph.D. in physics at the University of Maryland and concurrently working as a graduate quantum materials researcher at the Laboratory for Physical Sciences.
