Jason Pollack is a postdoc at the University of Texas at Austin. He obtained his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology under the supervision of Sean Carroll. His research is conducted at the intersection between quantum gravity and quantum information, with a focus on decoherence, holography and emergent spacetime. He is currently interested in understanding the role of coarse-graining in determining the approach to thermalization and the emergence of natural gravitational observables and dynamics.
