Joan Camps is a research software developer for Riverlane. As a member of It from Qubit, he was a postdoc at University College London. He is originally from Barcelona, where he earned a Ph.D. in general relativity advised by Roberto Emparan. After postdoc fellowships at Durham University and Cambridge University, he joined the It for Qubit network at its London node. He has worked on geometric aspects of entanglement in field theory and gravity, and has contributed to a generalization of Wald’s entropy formula for theories of gravity with higher derivative interactions.
