Jonathan Tischio

Jonathan Tischio joined the Scientific Computing Core at the Flatiron Institute in 2019, to work as a storage engineer on all of the Institute’s storage platforms. Prior to his arrival, he served as the Head of Technology Infrastructure at a data analytics startup. Before that, he spent 15 years at a top-tier hedge fund as the lead engineer for data protection and other critical storage infrastructure. His early career was spent as a technologist in academia, the music industry, and manufacturing. In a parallel universe, he performed as a classical musician and as a drummer in punk rock and heavy metal bands.
