Joseph Tindall, Ph.D.

Associate Research Scientist, CCQ, Flatiron Institute

Joseph Tindall joined the foundation in August 2022 as a Flatiron research fellow at the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ). His research is focused on uncovering the role that geometry plays in many-body quantum physics and he employs a combination of computational tensor-network methods and analytical methods in order to do so. Joseph earned an M.Sc. from the University of Bath and a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford. He also held a postdoctoral position at the University of Oxford before moving to the foundation.
