Karsen McCord

Karsen McCord joined the Simons Foundation in 2026 as a program coordinator for the Science, Society, & Culture (SSC) division. She supports program development and grantmaking for the division from proposal review to due diligence and general grants administration. She also assists with SSC’s external communications and storytelling.

Prior to joining the foundation, McCord served as a senior associate at Boost Social Sector Consulting, where she managed consulting projects and supported research and data analysis for philanthropic organizations.

McCord holds a B.S. in public health sciences and biology from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in neuroscience and education from Columbia University.
