Louis Smith, Ph.D.
Flatiron Research Fellow, Structural and Molecular Biophysics, CCB, Flatiron Institute
Louis Smith joined the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Biology (CCB) in March of 2026 as a Flatiron Research Fellow. His background is in Molecular Dynamics of proteins and nucleic acids, and applications of Markov State modeling to analyzing simulations, and simulating vitrification. He continues to be interested in these topics, but is hoping to expand into studying solvation and disorder in biomolecular systems while at the Flatiron Institute.
