Lucie Scharré

Lucie Scharré joined the CCA as a pre-doctoral researcher in September 2026. She is a fourth-year PhD student at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, where her research focuses on modeling emission lines from individual H II regions in galaxies from cosmological simulations. During her time at the CCA, she is adapting Lumen, her emission-line modeling framework, for the use with low-resolution simulations and semi-analytic models. Her goal is to investigate how variations in photoionization modeling and galaxy formation physics influence the connection between emission-line galaxies and dark matter halos in order to enable reliable interpretations of small-scale galaxy clustering in cosmological surveys.
